Now, if you are anything like me and just don’t like cooking a whole lot, or are short on time, here’s how to make the most of the meals you can get in so that you’re not doing anything to hurt your test or put on and keep any excess weight. So, let me show you what we have here today:
Whole-Wheat Flour Tortillas: When you’re at the grocery store, make sure you flip the packaging over and check to make sure you are NOT getting any tortillas with “enriched flour” because processed flour is a killer for test levels.
We’re going to make a delicious wrap today with these whole-wheat tortillas. Start by placing a paper towel on top of a microwave-safe plate, then comes the tortilla.
The ingredients to top your wrap are:
-Organic Sliced Roast Beef
-Reduced-Fat Cheddar Cheese
-Pico De Gallo
Pop this in the microwave for 90 seconds, then sit back and relax.
Now, you can also substitute out the sliced roast beef for some organic refried beans. People used to think these were terrible for you, but that’s because back in the day restaurants they would add in lard.
So, take the original recipe above but start off by spreading some organic refried beans on the tortilla. Microwave all the ingredients like before for 90 seconds, but this time we’re going to add on just some lettuce or spring mix veggies from the package, then you’re done.
Eating healthy and keeping our nutrition in check doesn’t have to be a hassle, guys. As you can see, these wraps only take two minutes or so to put together, then you’ve got a lean, filling meal in front of you.
