Got A Date But No Plans?

The best way to stay on track with a fit & healthy lifestyle is to stay consistent! Now this can be especially challenging around holidays such as valentines day. It seems to be almost entirely centered around chocolate and overindulging. Now while it may be tempting to give in, you have to think about your ultimate goal and all the hard work you have put into making goals a reality.

That's why we thought it would be fun to put 5 fun and fit date ideas together, to not only stay on track but enjoy some time with your family, friends or loved ones. Nothing better than growing gains and growing relationships at the same time!

Valentine's day is known for amazing dinners, what better way to enjoy some quiet time with your loved one than to cook dinner at home, not only will you be able to bond and enjoy time while cooking you can also make a delicious, healthy meal to celebrate the day and avoid the rush and craziness of going out on a holiday where everyone is out. There are plenty of free and healthy recipes online that are sure to make this a date to remember!

The second option if you're feeling a little more energetic is to get moving! Couples that workout together stay together right? Well we can test that later for now make sure to plan out what exactly you'll be doing. Whether that's a romantic walk downtown enjoying the city lights or a jog around your local park or around your neighborhood-maybe a friendly race. The point is to get blood pumping and keep moving!

Don't forget activities like bowling or ice skating, or maybe going all out and trying out skydiving. Talk about getting that heart rate up and adrenaline pumping! Also a great way to impress your date.

A fourth and my personal favorite is to get pampered. Book a couples massage or a facial and some time in a sauna! Everyone loves a little relaxation and it will do wonders for your health! Not just mentally but also physically!

Last but not least is to enjoy an evening out dancing! Yes moving your body in any way counts! This is your chance to not only let loose but also enjoy time with friends and possibly make some new friends while you're at it!

The bottom line is have fun! Get your body up and moving but most importantly of all enjoy time with your friends and/or loved ones! Staying consistent in a fit and active lifestyle doesn't have to take away from your personal and social life.
