Is it possible to get the same results at home as you could at the gym?
Is all the equipment really necessary to achieve results?
Many people worry that a home workout will not be enough. And that if they’re not able to get to the gym they won't see “results”. Well, that's not the case! Results from an at home workout can be just as impressive when compared to results from a gym routine.
Working out at home will definitely give you results, especially when the alternative is not working out at all! It also solves the problems most people report as the reasons why they don't work out.
You can get a complete, fitness routine at home either using at home workout equipment such a dumbbells or resistance bands, but you can also work out using nothing more than your own body weight.
If you're not too sure what to do or where to start, equipment or no equipment. It is strongly recommended & encouraged to follow a workout plan or routine. This can be in the form of fitness videos or guides purchased from personal trainers or even videos available online.
The basic idea is to get your body up and moving. Burning those calories, challenging yourself- like you would at the gym.
By increasing the number of reps, the tempo of the reps and of course increasing the weight you can turn up the difficulty in your training and grow muscle mass or shed pounds depending on whatever your goal is.
Getting in shape can be basically narrowed down to:
*sufficient muscle stimulation
The latter two aren't affected by the environment in which you work out necessarily so it just comes down to being able to generate enough muscle stimulation or tension.
Being disciplined and knowledgeable are key elements to seeing actual changes happen not just in your body but also in your mind.
