If you’re wanting to lose weight – as a woman, you’re going to want to limit your carb intake and instead eat more fats and protein.
We still need SOME carbs though, so you should have whole grain carbs that have a lot of fiber, like quinoa, brown rice, oats, barley, etc. Sweet potatoes are also a great choice here.
I would try to limit how many of these you eat though, and only have them around the morning and around the most active time of your day.
Try to limit yourself to one fist-sized portion for each of those meals, maybe one more if you have a very busy day ahead.
You can help yourself stay feeling full by eating more fatty foods like avocados, fish, nuts, etc.
Try not to have a TON of fruit, especially bananas. Berries are your best option because they are the highest in fiber.
MOST IMPORTANTLY though, have as many vegetables as you can in every meal! Green beans, squash, zucchini, asparagus, broccoli, salad greens, etc. High fiber vegetables will help you drop weight much faster!
