Abs After 40Science-Based Six Pack | Green Detox

Whoa, whoa, whoa, guys – wait a minute!

Toby Buttle here – Senior Trainer at 40+ – and I need you to stop dead in your tracks before you try doing any cardio right now.

Because today, I’m gonna show you a low-impact cardio circuit that you can do right now – at home – without stepping foot on a treadmill or having to go on a long and painful run.

This is a low-impact, but still, a high-intensity interval training, or HIIT, circuit that you can start doing with no equipment at all right at home.

This way, there’s no need to buy a treadmill or make the trip to the gym to start burning off that stubborn belly fat and getting in shape.

Today, we have 1 dynamic warm-up stretch, 3 exercises for the circuit, then 1 cool-down stretch – so a total of 5 movements that should only take you about 10-15 minutes to complete:

First, we’re gonna warm up with Activated Lateral Lunges – 10 Lunges per side to get our hips, core, and legs nice and loose.

Next, it’s right into the cardio circuit!

You’ll do each exercise for 30-seconds, then switch right into the next one back-to-back.

Exercise #1 are Alternating Single-Leg High Knees

Exercise #2 – “No-Jump” Side-To-Side Jacks

Exercise #3 – Alternating Body Squat Lateral Reaches

We’re going to do a total of 3 rounds of this circuit, then cool down with dynamic stretch – Alternating Forward Lunge Holds – 10 seconds per side for 10 reps.

Listen up, fellas, you don’t need the gym or all this high-tech equipment to get started burning belly fat.

It’s all about doing the right moves together, the right way that us older guys need to be training.
