Today I want to introduce you to my good friend, brother in fitness and weight loss expert, Jonny Catanzano.

Jonny, also known as “El Gato” (The Cat) has all of the qualities that are important in a friend, fitness motivator, and mentor. That’s why I wanted you guys to get to know him a little better through this brief interview.

Inside the mind of Jonny “El Gato” Catanzano

Jonny Catanzano, a Pittsburgh native, was a University of Tennessee football player in college. He then took his athleticism and love for fitness and joined the bodybuilding community. Jonny has competed at the national level in the NPC, taking home some pretty high scores along with his impressive physique.

Jonny is a certified personal trainer through the most prestigious training organization, the National Academy of Sports Medicine.  He coaches men of all ages and experience level through an over-the-phone, exclusive program called “Platinum Coaching.”

“Music! Playing, listening, concerts and festivals. I play electric guitar (a gibson explorer). Some other things I love to do are fish, golf, bird hunt and take my firearms to the range. Cars too – I have a 2014 Dodge Charger SRT with some modifications.”

I can say Martial Arts (Bruce Lee) actually sparked my interest in wanting a nice looking body and gaining muscle along with watching Arnold S. when he appeared as Conan "The Barbarian" and Conan "The Adventurer" in his hit movies. One of the biggest parts of success in any type of goal, is through hard work, discipline and consistency. I'm glad Martial Arts provided me that vessel because I can truly say without those characteristics, I would not have been able to be successful in Fitness and build the body I have today. It's such a rewarding feeling and I want each and everyone of you to have that feeling.
