How To Make Time To Work Out

You’re not too busy to get in shape. There are three ways to make the time: work out at home, work out every day for a short time instead of a few long workouts a week, and use AI to take work off your plate.

1. Work out at home

If you’re doing 30-minute workouts and you drive 15 minutes each way to the gym, you just doubled your workout time. So your 30-minute workout really takes you an hour.

Everyone should have a good home workout setup, even if you also keep a gym membership. That way on the days you don’t have time to drive to the gym, you can still get your workout in at home. Here’s how to work out at home on a budget.

2. Work out every day, for 15 minutes

Working out for 15 minutes every day beats working out for 2 hours 3 times a week.

You can consistently do a 15-minute home workout every day. But the 2-hour workouts end up getting skipped. And a workout you skip doesn’t do anything for you, no matter how long it was supposed to be.

And on a day you’re really slammed, even a 3-minute total body workout counts.

3. Use AI to buy back your time

If you work a white-collar job, use AI to get more done in less time. If you’re in school, use AI to get through your schoolwork faster.

You can use it for your personal tasks too. Things like making restaurant reservations, or researching which gym to join.

Every task AI takes off your plate gives you time back. So put that time into your workouts and your meal prep, not into more work.

Where to start

  1. Start with a 15-minute home workout every morning.
  2. Over the next few weeks, figure out where AI can take tasks off your plate.
  3. Put the time you get back into workouts and meal prepping.

If you think you’re too busy to get in shape, try those three things first.
