Everyone already knows how to stop eating. If you’re overweight, you don’t have a “can’t stop” problem. You do stop. You just stop at the wrong point. You stop a little too late, you go a little bit too far. So the fix is moving that stopping point earlier, so you stop at the right point. And the tool I point to for that is Zepbound.
What Hormozi asked the fat guy
On The Iced Coffee Hour, Alex Hormozi asks an overweight guy why he isn’t 200 pounds heavier. And the guy says it’s because he can’t eat that much. And Hormozi says, so you do know how to stop. You just stop at the wrong point.
This is a critical insight from Alex Hormozi. Even a lot of hardcore Hormozi fans haven’t heard this one. But he makes a great point here. That guy doesn’t have an issue with stopping. He already stops, every single day. It’s just where he’s stopping.
Why that changes how you think about it
So think about what that guy said. The reason he’s not 200 pounds heavier is because he can’t eat that much. But he could eat enough to get him significantly overweight. So his “full” point, the point where he says I can’t eat any more, sits at a level that keeps him fat.
That’s not your willpower. That’s your stopping point. Not your willpower, your stopping point.
Now imagine he hit that same “I can’t eat any more” feeling at a point where he’s in a calorie deficit. He sits down, he eats, he feels full, he stops, and he’s still losing fat. That’s the goal. You want to feel full while you’re eating in a deficit.
And if you already know what to do and you just can’t stick with it, what you need is motivation, not information.
How Zepbound moves your stopping point
That is what Zepbound does for you. It moves your stopping point from the point that’s making you fat to the point that’s going to make you lean.
And the dose can be adjusted. You dial in your dosage with your doctor, so that way your stopping point is dialed in to exactly the right point. Set the dose, set your stopping point.
So take some Zepbound and move that stopping point to the correct place. There are other ways I keep my calories down too, and I go through them in my top 10 tips for getting six pack abs at 40.
